With 10 years’ experience crafting wine at home (in the Napa Valley at Barnett Vineyards, Chateau Montelena, and David Arthur Vineyards) and abroad (Pierro Margaret River Vineyards in Western Australia and Chateau d’Arsac), Nile Zacherle’s experience and passion imbue Zacherle Wines with uncommon depth. Interest in wine was a family affair that began at an early age, from an uncle who opened the first French cooperage in the Napa Valley, to his father, who liked to experiment with homegrown winemaking techniques. Nile’s early interest in fermented beverages turned toward beer making, which led him to enroll in the Brewing Science program at the University of California, Davis. Love. Creativity. Innovation. Evolution. Growing up amidst the vineyards of her family’s winery, Whitney Fisher Zacherle came of age in an environment that was passionate about winemaking. From a young age, Whitney participated in every aspect of the winegrowing process, from harvest to bottling at Fisher Vineyards. While pursuing an education took her to the East Coast and Princeton University, the wine world was always alive in her heart. With a degree in American History in hand, Whitney decided she would work one last summer at the family winery before entering the professional world.
